EASY ENTRY TO TENNIS BEGINNER
Sony once developed a smart tennis racket accessory with motion sensor embedded. To leverage this technology, I was involved in the concept design for the mobile phone app named “Sony Smart Coach” and responsible for the casual track targeted for tennis beginners (there was another track for professionals). This app integrates functionalities of training course schedule, health data dashboard, pro tips, random matching with community friends, fun quest, progress tracker, and fun moments feed, etc. in a relax but encouraging visual language to allow tennis beginners to have an easy start with fun.
Sony曾在日本市场开发出一套智能网球拍附件可以追踪球员挥拍的速度和击打的力度，配合在特定网球场安装的多个动作捕捉摄像头，可以从多维度记录下球员在赛场上的表现数据，并通过专业教练对于数据的分析，给出改进意见和指导。这一智能网球拍附件分为两个级别售卖，入门级和专业级，并对应两套视觉风格迥异的App UI，来提供更有针对性的用户体验。我们负责的是入门级的App UI。可以感觉到的是整体界面传达出轻松、有趣且极具游戏感的风格，让使用者可以轻松上手，并零负担地持续使用。
